    Should I Reconsider Z-Wave?

I'm not actually reconsidering z-wave, I use it and have been happy with it.  I have a Homeseer Pro-100 controller which has served me well.    What I'm looking for is some input on how to marry my z-wave to my Amazon Echo Show.  I see some recommending Wink2 or Smartthings.  My Pro-100 is a HS2...

can't enroll zwave Linear plug-in dimmer or switch

I tried that before with no joy.  But darned if it didn't work today - at least on one of them.  Thanks for the tip.

can't enroll zwave Linear plug-in dimmer or switch

I picked up several used Linear PS15Z-2 and PD300Z-2 devices.  For some reason I can't delete or add these devices to my HS Pro 100 with a HS Z-troller.  I'm wondering if Linear may have created some proprietary devices for use with 2GIG or other alarm systems?  Linear wants $50 for a telephone...

    Dual-Load Single-Gang options.

I should have also asked if you have romex or a conduit system.   In either case really, if you have metal junction boxes you might find that you have a 4x4 JB with a single gang plaster ring.  If that were the case (in the bath) you can carefully cut the drywall to allow you to install a two...

    Dual-Load Single-Gang options.

If you want to go with zwave you might consider the Intermatic CA600 600 watt dimmers.  These do NOT require a neutral.  And, they can work with existing 3-way switches with a little tinkering with the travellers (jumpers actually).  Three of these would replace the 3 3-way switches in the 3...

    Automating a home generator

Generators that are designed as standby power for homes or commercial applications include mechanical transfer switches that prevent backfeeding to the utility.  For isolated or unattended locations this is generally the only option.    If you are intending to install your system on your home...

Detached garage, M1, and Temperature sensors

I installed my M1G about 5-6 years ago. I have all KP1 keypads which have a built-in temp sensor. My detached shop is a separate partition (area) and has it's own keypad which the software reads every morning when it is advising about temps in various parts of the system. I find the KP1...

Measuring pool piping water flow and/or pressure

My suggestion is to wach eBay for one of these : http://cgi.ebay.com/Effector-PN7224-pressure-sensor-/260786812696?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cb81af718 This one is way too expensive, I have picked them up for as little as $10 - $20 new. I use this on our shared water well and it works...

    AnthonyZ's Convergent Living Based Cocoon...

I know this is a terribly old post, but I wondered if you're still using Convergent Living? I have a Companion (new in box) that I obtained and would like to use, but have no idea how to get started. Do you have any pointers in getting started? Thanks.

Simply Automated - What is 20 or 40 in model number

I have a NIB SA Model: US11-20 in front of me. I bought it some time ago and never have used it. It's no typo and the label is factory original. The install sheet says it is for Models US1/US2/USR. I assume it's just a basic 600w dimmer for UPB.

    M1 Output 1 problem - intermittant

My M1G voice has died several times, but always "healed" itself. Hasn't lasted more than a few minutes so I haven't thought much of it.
