I saw some US11-20-W switches but when looking on the simple automated site most of the switches seem to have a 40 in the model number. Anyone know what the 20 or 40 in the model number means?
I think its a typo. The older/original series was 30 as in US11-30. It's possible there was a series before that but that would date back more than at least 6 years.
Looks like the 11-30 was the older single switch and the 1-40T was the single switch with timer.
I assume SA combined these into the new 11-40 which is the single switch with timer.
you are probably better off buying a new one. The seller does not know if it works and does not accept returns. I also agree it is probably a typo.
Ever since ebay changed their policies (for the better mostly) that a seller has to state a return policy in the up front information (not in the fine print) so many sellers do not accept returns. I cant see people buying items that cost hundreds of dollars or more and not being able to return it.
If you could have gotten the switch for a buck and $5 shipping it might be worth the gamble but its already over $20 with shipping.
I have a NIB SA Model: US11-20 in front of me. I bought it some time ago and never have used it. It's no typo and the label is factory original. The install sheet says it is for Models US1/US2/USR. I assume it's just a basic 600w dimmer for UPB.
