Help me find Jasco/GE 45609 on/off (not dimmer) switches ver. 2.0a or 3.0a only

FYI, I went and took a risk that the new 45609 GE switches that Smarthome recently got in stock would be of the newer firmware version and sure enough they are v3.0b (which Jasco customer service rep confirmed will support beam mode).

Help me find Jasco/GE 45609 on/off (not dimmer) switches ver. 2.0a or 3.0a only

I'd hit up radio shack (I have some 45606 switches and the trane thermostats I just bought from them) but they don't sell the on/off switches (45609). I have some stuff that I can't have on a dimmer type switch and thus my dilemma. :)

Hi, I am looking to buy two GE Z-Wave Wireless Lighting Control On/Off Switches (Part# 45609) but they have to be version 2.0a or 3.0a that support secure beaming. So far I have been unable to find a vendor that is willing to go through their stock and send the units with version numbers...

    Remote Desktop Client for Android

I have been trying this app lately as well and it seems to work well. I also use android-vnc-viewer and have had good success with it though the mouse clicks with the finger don't work as well as the app from wyse.

Wow, that is great news! I am excited to see what you have put together. I am currently starting out upgrading my house with a bunch of z-wave equipment. Do you happen to note which equipment is compatible with the various home automation "standards" out there? Kevin, Thanks for the info about...

Post up your IP security camera installation pictures!

The wife and I have been talking about putting in some IP security cameras (indoor and outdoor) at our house lately. I'd like to see this thread become the official place to post up some pictures of your camera installations along with a little bit of info about them if possible. 1. Make 2...

    Does my switch support "beam"ing?

From Jasco Support just in case it matters to someone else. You are correct that the only switches that have the beaming technology are the 2.0a and 3.0a, unfortunately we do not have a program to exchange products in that fashion. I would recommend returning it to the place of purchase for an...

    Does my switch support "beam"ing?

Hi, I am brand new to all this z-wave business and have purchased a few items to get started. I picked up a Mi Casa Verde Vera 2, a Kwisket lever lock and a GE 45614 3-way switch and a appliance on/off plug in module from an online retailer. The question is obvious from here. How can I tell if...
