Help me find Jasco/GE 45609 on/off (not dimmer) switches ver. 2.0a or 3.0a only

Hi,

I am looking to buy two GE Z-Wave Wireless Lighting Control On/Off Switches (Part# 45609) but they have to be version 2.0a or 3.0a that support secure beaming. So far I have been unable to find a vendor that is willing to go through their stock and send the units with version numbers that end in 'a'. If you are a vendor that is willing to do this please send me a PM or if you know of a vendor that might be willing to do this please let me know.

Not sure if it will help you, but I just bought 13 45606 Jasco's from Radioshack.com They are all 2.0a. Guess you could always buy them and the store will take back returns if they aren't what you want.

Radio Shack is having a Blow Out Sales.........45606 is $19.97

The ones I bought are 3.0A

I'd hit up radio shack (I have some 45606 switches and the trane thermostats I just bought from them) but they don't sell the on/off switches (45609). I have some stuff that I can't have on a dimmer type switch and thus my dilemma.

I am in the same boat here. Wish Radio Shack sold these too.

FWIW- I am having mixed luck with the GE switches as far as them working properly

According to the HS website, yes it does.

FYI, I went and took a risk that the new 45609 GE switches that Smarthome recently got in stock would be of the newer firmware version and sure enough they are v3.0b (which Jasco customer service rep confirmed will support beam mode).
