Couple other options - buy the 64 channel HAI wireless receiver for GE devices. Then you can use GE/ITI/CADDX/UTC water sensors and smoke detectors but thats pricey. GE is now UTC - previously they bought CADDX and ITI so part numbers vary. You can buy 1, 2 or 8 zone GE wireless receivers that...

You can have more than one outdoor sensor. My understanding of the "only one outdoor sensor" rule is that it is for showing the outdoor temp on the touchscreen. If you have 2 or more outdoor temps, make sure the one you want to show up on the touchscreen is at the lower zone number.
