Awakened at 2am last night.
I had the Freeze Alarm set as active (has been for two years).
This setting properly ignores the outdoor temperature and only looks at the other temperature sensors for readings below 40 degrees.
However, I recently added an attic temperature sensor.
That is the one that went below 40 last night and woke up the house.
Is there a way to pick and choose which temperature sensors are part of the freeze warning?
Or ignore a sensor?
I can only have one outdoor temperature sensor so I can't make the attic an outdoor sensor.
For now I turned off the Freeze Alarm setting and added a few lines of code to trip off of one of the indoor sensors, however this does not use the thermostat temperature sensors, so now I have only a single monitoring point.
I thought about making one of the temperature sensors of zone type "freeze" but I don't think that is what I want.
I thought the freeze zone type is for thermocouple type sensors.
