I'd like to have a hardwire solution to my front door, and unfortunately there is sideglass all the way around, sides and top.  (So I could not pre-wire for a top or hinge mounted contact.)  I do have complete access to the door threshold from the basement.  Has anyone ever put one of these...

  LOL, yes mine is.  There will also be other AP's around the house.  Strangely enough I did not have much of a problem on 2.4 when experimenting with this a couple months ago.  It was a newer microwave I wonder if that matters?
