    Thanks Ral, I have only had the new device abut 3 days ...I read through the directions (briefly, I admit) but there were a lot of different configurations depending on the console being used. I wasn't sure which one pertained to Elk M1... I will go back through and figure it out.

    Thanks guys, I will call AlarmRelay tomorrow and see what the bottom line cost will be in each scenario... the only concern I would have with the HAI C3, is any home phone jacks that I could connect to it, also has my DSL running on the line...
