I just installed an ELK M1 alarm, and I cannot get the audible siren to make noise. I have an 8ohm speaker connected to output 2 set to siren mode. When the alarm trips, no audible sound. Also on the panel output 2 reads 12 volts dc across the contacts? I'm not sure what trouble shooting steps...

I just submitted the form on the ELK website, looks like I will have to wait until tomorrow to get a copy of ELK RP so I can reflash the panel. While I was on there I did notice the 2 versions. Thanks for your help, I will try the fix tomorrow.

Please help, this is my first post here. I have an ELK-M1EZ8 installed, and I cannot get my wireless receiver a caddx 548 to register with the M1. It blinks green when powered up, but will not show up on keypad under menu 14 wireless. Also when I activate a wireless sensor, the light blinks...
