Replaced DS9097U and now script fails!

I think we've found the problem. It seems that the DS9097U-009 is not a direct replacement for the DS9097U-S09....so the software is not compatible. Does anyone know who the contact at Hobby Boards is? /Jimboat

Replaced DS9097U and now script fails!

Can anyone help? I am having trouble with the script that gets my temperature readings from my 1-wire network. everything has run flawlessly for over 2 years, until my DS9097U failed and i replaced it. The new adapter reads the temps fine using the Dallas TMEX i-Button Viewer, but the HS script...

Problem with HS script for Dallas DS9097U adapter

Hmmmm - thanks Dan, for the idea. The writeup says "Functions the same as a DS9097U-S09, with the addition of a 64-bit address", but maybe the "addition" changes enough. Any idea where i can get the driver that applies to the ds9097u-009?.

    Insurance Certificate

In order for me to take advantage of my Homeseer/X10 security system, my insurance company requires a "installation certificate". Is there such a thing as a "standard" alarm certificate or security certificate, used by people like me, that installed the system themselves? /Jimboat

    [How-To] Appliance monitor

EXCELLENT THREAD! I am interested in how you finally got your measurement working for your Water Softener. Most softeners are run by low voltage (12V or 24V) transformers that run a timer or electronic servo system. How did you do it? I would like to measure when my Water softener is...

[How-to] Build an Antenna for Your X-10 Receiver

I have a question for all of you RF experts. Does the choice of materials affect (improve/degrade) the performance of the antenae? For example, will 1/8" rod work better than 1/16" rod? Will copper work better than brass? Also, when using the antenae for a transmitting cm19a (to control...
