That sounds good- just to be clear, as my current tstats do have the 4 wires, if I get an RCS tstat, the elk should be able to control it using existing wiring?

If I am going to get one of these elk compatable tstats to replace the ones I have, am I going to have to pull new wiring up to the tstat locations? If so, what kind of wiring?

Call ELK and ask if there is a local installer that does ELK.

I don't know- we won't actually close on the house till next month. I'll check back in at that point.

I'm planning to purchase a house soon. The favored house currently has an ademco alarm system. Can I replace it with an elk, but not replace the sensors? In other words, just take out the 'box' in the utility room, and replace that and the keypads with elk products?
