    Looking to buy RC-2000 thermostats

Hey Anthony I sent you a message.

    Looking to buy RC-2000 thermostats

Hi Nick I confirmed no crystal growth on any of the soldered surfaces. All clean. I may try to fix the one with the stuck relay. Do you know if schematics or service manuals exist? I've not looked for it yet, still trying to buy new/used thermostats. I found a woman in Miami claiming to...

    Looking to buy RC-2000 thermostats

I've been looking on eBay and other places to replace both of my RC-2000WH thermostats. One no longer accepts remote setpoint changes and the other seems to have stuck relays (AC stays on). They lasted about 9 years. Does anyone know of a place selling them for less than a fortune or have one...

OPII can't set RC2000 setpoints any longer

I tried using PCA and the security keypad.  They did not work.  I don't have an Omnitouch or use Snaplink.   I like your idea of cycling power to the thermostats.  I'll try that.

OPII can't set RC2000 setpoints any longer

HI all   I've had my OPII system since 2013 and use it to, among other things, control my RC2000 thermostats (2 of them).  All has been fine for the last 9 years.  I could control all stat functions from higher level software or directly from Dealer PC access using Send Command.   Starting last...

Thanks for the info and link to files.  I'll install it when I'm back home.

    Cant update OPII time

I just tried to update my OPII controllers time and get this error message about an unhandled exception of the time format.  It looks valid to me.  Its been a year at least since I've reset the time, not sure why this is happening since it worked fine for years.  I'm running 3.16 software, which...

    Anyone tried OPII firmware 3.9?

I saw an announcement at Worthington that 3.9 just dropped.  I'm currently at 3.16 (dated July 1 2016) and PC access tells me I'm current.    Am I missing something here?  They are jumping from 3.16 to 3.9?

Android tablet POE Ethernet over USB

No, the Vidabox VitaPower is POE to USB charging only.

Android tablet POE Ethernet over USB

Oh, and for those who are more cost conscious I think the POE to USB charger/data adaptor could be done for less than half of the $168 that Lavalink is charging for the STS-PE.  What I had is much bigger, bulkier, and is unconfirmed to work.  Here it is if anyone is interested.   POE Splitter. ...

Android tablet POE Ethernet over USB

I'm going with the Vidabox mounting for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5.  They look really classy (and not in a Trump kind of way).  The Tab S 10.5's AMLOED screen is awesome in any ambient light level.  With the POE charger/data connection it should be a killer combination.  Not cheap, but I will have 3...

Android tablet POE Ethernet over USB

I'm mounting mine on a wall like Frumple is showing in his picture.  I have a POE drop to the location and want to use a hard wired data connection.  Android > 4.0.x is setup for Ethernet over USB, although there are compatibility tables for individual models.   Wor2Play your link lead me to...

Android tablet POE Ethernet over USB

Sure, one can just use the POE for power and WiFi for data.  However I'm trying to use the Ethernet connection I have right there waiting for me to use it.  Plus there are security and stability concerns with any radio connection.   I can't be the first person to want to do this...

Android tablet POE Ethernet over USB

I'm looking for a POE Ethernet to USB adaptor that includes the power and data conversion.  A small single box that can take POE Ethernet and get both the 5V power and data on the USB connector.  I can find a way to do it with a combination of two boxes (below), but that sucks.  I can live with...

Simply Automated and UPB gen II/III

I don't want to beat a dead horse on this subject.  Its been debated over and over...   It took me about 2 years to fully figure out all my UPB problems and fix them.  I was forced to install a Pulseworx UPB repeater in my breaker box.  I first tried to use the SA inverting phase coupler but it...
