It seems that the ip cameras and video servers I am testing use java to serve video
Java does not run and will probably never run on iphones

I am trying to upgrade an HAI system which was WL2 to WL3. The issue that I have is the convesion of analog cameras to IP for use in WL3. I want to keep the existing analog cameras and put in (encoders/video servers) to convert each image to ip format. I thought this would be easy but HAI...
I have a client with standard cameras and a WLII setup. I upgraded him to WL3 and he wants to convert his cameras to IP. Can anyone recommend hardware to do this that is reasonably priced?

Simply Reliable Software (SRS) works great for a small audio visual/home auomation operation. It is a complete front end for the business and has fantastic proposal capabilities. I had used d-tools for years before I used this software but it is really designed for a larger operation
Thanks again...I have not used an occupancy sensor before...and am recondiering how I control lights with this unit. In the past I really only did path type lighting..areas where you would not be for long...using a statndard motion in a dual role, but with this I possibly could do living...

I only want to use motions in pathways, stairways and other area where you will not be for long...like a closet or toilet room etc...I want to control light levels and dim rates based on a few modes...evening lighting mode(still walking around doing stuff), nite mode...

Thanks again for the info, I did find where the omni can query, but it is by switch only, not globally...
I made a macro that queries each switch every 5 minutes which is fine for me as I only really look at the status remotely using snap-link
