I'm having the same problem with you but luckily I saw this thread before bumping into another issue on updating. Can anyone help us on this? I think the Java updates are having incompatibility issues and this causes the huge trouble. I have performed my backup to ensure that everything is safe.

Onkyo receivers are better. The price range is a bit higher but well worth it. I'm not a fan of Pioneer but you can check the testimonials for their product by using Google.

I have the same units and all I can say is its perfect! The outdoor speakers were competitively price and its specifications can beat other overpriced speakers.
