120V / 9V backup Smokes

Looking to purchase about 8 120VAC/9VDC battery backup smokes. These are to replace what contractor put into place about 8 years ago.

Not sure what a good price would be as I have seen them for as little as $8 to as much as $70.

Any suggestions?

Found them locally sold in contractor packs....

You may want to investigate replacing at least one with a GE Smoke Detector with a contact closure. This way all your smokes will interface with your home automation system.
