I've got an Intermatic 3-way switch I'm trying to wire up. The wiring is causing me issues, I'm hoping someone can suggest a nice fix.
The switch requires that a hot wire be hooked up to it as well as a direct wire running to the load.
Here is the current wiring setup:
Box 1, standard switch is wired up with a black hot wire and a black/orange set of wires that go directly to box 2's switch.
Box 2, standard switch has one black wire going to the load, and the black/orange set that came from the first switch.
I *need* to have the z-wave switch wired up in box 1, yet without the load wire that's found in box 2, I can't get it working.
Any suggestions on how to make this work without resorting to moving the z-wave switch to box 2 (it's out of range of my z-wave network)?
