Advent 3500PC wireless lan drivers

I bought one of these tablet pc back when these were a hot topic on these forums. I hate this thing. It's noisy, get's really hot, and the battery life is terrible. I decided (after having it sit in my dresser for a year) that instead of using it as a stand alone tablet I am going to hardwire it into the wall. I think it will be an ok (fingers crossed) pc if hardwired to power and just running my HA app. My wireless on this thing has never worked and my connection is constantly being dropped. Anyone have similar issues that were able to be resolved? I know I am not the only one that bought this thing on these forums. I am trying to see if a better driver is available and where to get it. Please PM if you got one with and have your wireless working right.

Granted I do not use it much I do not have a major problem with the wireless on mine

never had any trouble either. Have you tried using it with a different access point (e.g., neighbor, starbucks, etc.)?

No I haven't tried any other network. Maybe just a bad egg. Maybe it's not configured right. I just don't understand why it would work and then stop working for no apparent reason. Maybe I can try a system restore or a USB to lan hardwired solution. THANKS GUYS!

I hardly use it either but I remember I had weird intermittent problems where it would die and would not reconnect. Running a repair on the connection would always 'fix' it.
