AES-Intellinet MESH NETWORK SETUP

I've recently been charged with the opportunity to develop my companys own AES-Intellinet wireless long-range radio network - for the initial duty of monitoring 200+ retro condos for a prospective leasing/relaity company in my town; and have advanced to the position of having the bid for the initial hardware from AES in my hands..

This is new grounds for me. . and I'd sure like to have someone i might ask casual pre-sales/technical questions to, from someone who has either installed this systems network, or even just added individual client modules.

The initial BID includes
2 7170-EM Remote UL Transceivers
2 Base Station Antennas
1 Handheld Programmer For Programming
2 7230 Surge Protectors
2 IP Link CAT5 Cables
2 100’/each RG-8/U RF Cables
+general component cables and connectors for miscellaneous hardware.

Their pricing has two options.. one of them (saves you half on initial hardware), but requires a comitmint to future transceivers.. which seems like it would be appealing.. but then it also looks like GE makes caddx/NX modules which would be cheaper in the quantity we'd need them; but these are all things I'd like to talk to someone who's played wiht the technology in more detail.
