Amps, little bitty amps

A friend of mine suggested using a bunch of Sonic Impact class-T amps to drive my ceiling speakers around the house. I don't need anything super powerful, just enough to get some decent quality sounding music into each room. Parts Express has them for about $60 each, but they are sold out. This is a far cry from the $20 they used to go for:

They still use the Tripath chips, and they have more power. Has anyone built one of these? I was planning on building a few of them and mounting them in a 19" rackmount case to have an amp with tons of channels, and then hooking an AP800 mixer into it for all of my sources.
