Another one bites the dust

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It's been a stressful two months and despite sending out tons of resumes and working with numerous recruiters I've yet to get anything substantial. The time off has allowed me to "get my head right" however so I'm happy for that. Despite having a very good salary, corner office, etc. I realize now that I was in a very negative situation and even though I'm quite broke now I actually feel better than I have in quite a while.
I've been working on starting my own business. It's a technology design and manufacturing company that will cater primarily to the industrial and commercial sector although at the beginning I'll be casting a bigger net to see if anything else sticks. I've got a couple of leeds that look promising and am working on others. Wearing the sales hat is something that's new and uncomfortable to me - I'm more comfortable behind the scenes with a soldering iron and computer. I'm trying to learn all I can about sales and break out of my comfy introverted cocoon but that's proving to be my biggest challenge.
I'll keep everyone posted as to my progress and hopeful success. Wish me luck!
