Haiku another request: DIM/BRIGHT buttons

Here I am with another request (I like Haiku and I'm experimentinga lot with it!).

As I requested in another thread it quold be nice to have separate ON and OFF buttons.
Another thing that would come in handy is the opportunity to have DIM/BRIGHT buttons instead of just the slider.

This is because I substituted one of the modules I used to control windows shutters with a Marmitek SW 12, expecting I could set it to open at a specified % regardless of its current position. Turns out that OmniPro II does not (or at least I couldn't find out how) send extented shutter codes type 0 - only light ones type 3 and only to a maximum of +9 step for each command, so the module will only respond to standard dim/bright X10 commands.

What happens now it that if the shutter is closed (= 0) and i send it a BRIGHT +9 X10 command Haiku will (correctly) say that the unit is ON and I cannot control it anymore except if I want to close it.

Load type? I don't get it. I set the house code B (the one I reserved for shutters) to be X10 extended. Is Ghisleri what you meant? Should I put it to X10 standard?

It's the same answer I got from HAI, bit (obviously) it doesn't work. Still responds to DIM/BRIGHT standard commands but stays silent on "set level" extended commands.
For what I found out looking in X10 specs it looks like there are specific shutter extended commands (type 0) that are different from extended light commands (type 3).
In the meantime I'm stuck with the standard commands

With Standard though you should get the DIM/BRIGHT buttons. As far as the extended commands, if the OmniPro doesn't support it then Haiku has no way of supporting it either I think since all X10 commands are actually issued by the controller.

Ah, OK, sorry but I didn't get your point at first: youmean that if I set them to standard the DIM/BRIGHT buttons will show up in Haiku?
