This device offers a bit more than the few little mini combo 3G/4G wireless modems and Nexus Hawk that I have been playing with.  I tested the throughput on the 3G connection and it worked well.  Dial tone sounds from Australia and I would prefer to hear a US like phone dial tone.  Works just fine.

Wondering about maybe auto switching a copper or VOIP line to this line.  I do have a device that will dial out or receive automatically on one of two lines; but it uses a 12VDC power supply.
