/archive/j/site/logos/iphone.pngAccording to some recent patent filings, Apple is working on a new product nicknamed iKey.  Their plan is to turn the iPhone into a universal door opener, supporting the unlocking of car doors, your house and more.  It sounds like the hardware will be RFID based, and might be part of the next iPhone platform.
