The THX certified DVR also supports Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus and BlockBuster On Demand. Combine this with the fact that this unit (and other lower models) can play content from other TiVo DVR units, and you end up with a distributed video system.
While not as powerful as the SageTV platform, it might actually make a good replacement, now that SageTV has been purchase by Google. The DVR sells for $499 + service and should be available soon. Check below for a quick video overview and some pictures.
