/archive/j/news/2011/1/HomeTroller-Mini.jpgWell here is a little bombshell that I didn't expect. HomeSeer is releasing the HomeTroller-Mini this year. It looks like they managed to cram the Homeseer software on a PogoPlug/SheevaPlug sized PC ... running Linux (on a 1GHz processor)! Since Homeseer is .NET based already, they were able to use Mono to make Homeseer run on Linux. The HomeTroller-Mini is slated to begin shipping in the 2nd quarter of 2011 and will retail for under $300. Once I have more details, I will update this post.
