SmartLabs announced that they have developed an 'INSTEON Smoke Bridge', which intercepts the RF signal broadcasted by the First Alert ONELINK smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Is there anyone else that makes something for ONELINK like this for Z-wave, Zigbee, UPB or any protocol besides INSTEON?

I take it that this product does not supervise the power to the actual detector?

Not true power supervision but it does monitor for the low battery alerts sent out by the detectors.
