CES 2011 Exclusive Update - 2GIG Technologies

CocoonTech visited the 2GIG Technologies during CES 2011 in Las Vegas on January 8, 2011 to see their 'Go Security System' that they were showcasing.

Want an inexpensive security system that uses a cellular GSM network (that you can log into via Alarm.com), can interface with Z-Wave lighting and thermostats and offer three wireless (345 MegaHertz, 500 ft range) door/window sensors plus a motion detector? Well the Go Control from 2GIG Technologies is your answer with a system (dealer cost) that starts under $350. Remote wireless keypads are also available for additional cost. They also offer an iPhone interface and can use the AT&T or T-Mobile GSM network.

Now you can interface all of your Z-Wave switches thermostats and locks and security system remotely with your iPhone! Also, in the future they are talking with Cobra car alarm so this system can integrate with that as well.

This is their first year for national sales!

The entire system can be configured via the unit's screen interface. You can also create scenes and rules as well (arm your system, lock your doors, turn off your lights, etc...). You can also disarm your system from your Kwikset (Z-Wave) door lock keypad (how cool is that)!
