CocoonTech visited the Aeon Labs booth at CES 2011 to report on their new products.

Aeon Labs has a LOT of really cool Z-Wave hardware for the DIY automation enthusiast! They actually state up front that they are DIY friendly!

Their first displayed product is a Z-Wave Smart Energy Switch ('in-line' plug) that will also monitor the devices energy (wattage and kilowatt hours). Systems such as MiCasaVerde and HomeSeer already have software interfaces for the energy monitoring capability of these devices!
