I found this interesting article about how a few guys at the University of Utah have figured out a way of seeing what's going on in a building/home by monitoring multiple RF signals. In this case, they focused on proving their theory using a 34-node ZigBee based network, with some real results. While this might not be practical yet, it makes you wonder if this could become a real issue once ZigBee hardware really takes off.
From my read of this it has nothing to do with zigbee. They likely targeted it because it was something real that could be anticipated in a home environment. Any electromagnetic signal that is modulated/absorbed/reflected/altered/etc by the human body can be used.
