Russound recently announced their new "Collage" whole house audio system. It looks like it is all IP based, running on top of powerlines in order to make expansion easy and affordable (you can add more zones later). The system will be available in October. It will be interesting to see how they will deal with phase issues, line noise issues and if it will interfere with existing PLC based protocols such as X-10, INSTEON and UPB. They also announced that they will not be bringing their previously announced Avenue system to the market. Read the press release below for more details (and pricing information).
