Hi all,
I recently purchased an Avermedia NV3000 video surveillance camera capture card and software and presently have it running on an Asus P5PE-VM motherboard with a 2.66GHz Celeron processor and 512MB of RAM.
I only plan to have 4-6 cameras in operation eventually.
Avermedia recommends a P4 3.2GHz CPU and 1GB of RAM, but I assume that this is for a system with all 16 cameras attached.
Can I get away with my present or a faster Celeron for my reduced camera load requirements?
Regards,
TCIII
