Finally!
I got a call just as I was leaving work yesterday that the internet guy was ready to come out and hook me up. He had to build a special antenna with a parabolic dish behind it because we were a long way away from the radio and that is why it took so long to get hooked up. He called and said he had finished putting the antenna together and could come out right away.
After crawling around in the attic to fish a shielded Cat5 cable up to the roof for the radio, we got everything mounted and hooked in.
Damn it feels good to be connected again.
I spent the rest of the evening downloading updates from Microsoft to my newly formatted Server 2003 X64 box as well as my wife’s newly constructed XP machine. Unfortunately, this has delayed my testing with the TEMP08 and sensors, but worth it.
