Hi all,
Just a quick note - BlueIris Software just released a pretty major update - version 4. If you look at your BI machine you'll see a popup notification but otherwise might not realize for a while.
Key differences are a 64-bit version to unlock the PC's resources, multi-camera playback so you can simultaneously watch something happen from multiple angles (a feature I like since I have overlapping coverage); and a nice timeline view showing what is and isn't recorded and where the motion alerts are.
There is a cost for the upgrade, but your version 3 will pop up a coupon code during the version check. If you purchased in December, it's free.
I am using BlueIris along side the new Grandstream NVR - it's been great software and it's very affordable. I highly recommend it.
