Buying Lutron Radio RA online?

Hello,

I am looking at adding a few automated dimmers to my house (none yet). Looks like the Radio RA will serve my and my spouse's needs well. There are already some non-automated Lutron dimmers in the house. I am contemplating buying some Radio RA dimmers from online vendors. Good idea or bad idea? Thanks.

I can't really speak specifically about on-line Lutron Vendors but I have a new starter kit I was planning to put up for sale. I will try to get it up here today.

I bought mine from http://www.hankselectric.net/. They don't have the best internet store, but the service was very good and you can easily chat on the phone with them. Some of their employees use RadioRA and can talk with you about it. The starter kits are the best deal by far. Unfortunately if you want something other than incandescent dimmers you have to buy ala-carte.

PS: RadioRA has been bulletproof so far (in a house with lots of metal ducts, concrete, etc), can't even compare it to a powerline technology. If only they made a better appliance or inline module ...

Beverly Hills Electric. seems to have some pretty good pricing on the Radio Ra line.
