CAI Webcontrol - a few questions

I just got my web control board and had a couple questions.

How are people wiring contact closures to the auxiliary inputs? obviously I need some sort of adapter for the pin but I am not sure where to look / what to search.

Is cat5 acceptable for the humidity sensor? it about 30' from the board to the bathroom where I need the sensor.

Are the outputs adequate for controlling the garage door?

Are people wiring temp sensors in a "star" pattern or daisy chaining multiple sensors.

Thanks for the help everyone, I am going to be playing with this in my free time over the next couple weeks.

16 pin I/O connector type is TYCO ELECTRONICS - 1658622-3
You can buy it from Newark.com

Humidity sensor is actually analog sensor. As long as you don't have a lot of signal loss on the wire, any cable is fine.

TTL output needs to be connected to a relay board, then using its contacts to connect to the garage door button.

Star connection for temperature sensor is bad, it is better to daisy chain. The reason is the electronics wave will reflect at the end of wire.
With Star configuration, you will have multiple reflected signal back to the controller.
