Why not use a cheap modem in your HomeSeer server and the UltraCID plugin? This plugin works with several modems.

The Elk can't really insert dynamic data in emails, so you would be out of luck even if you did find such a device. It's email capabilities are very limited.

Personally I utilize both Email and TXT from HS relating to "events". (mostly TXT for speed and short messages).

During pre election time noticed numerous out of state cell calls. The "best" CID I've seen is the all zeros CID.

An ideal solution would be to "interrupt" the call not allowing the ring to go thru and dropping it even before it gets to your phones.

Today the non wanted calls works pretty descent with the call being picked by HS, a polite "do not call, take me off your call list TTS" and the "tone" for the broadcast calling machines (if they still utilize them). Another kind neat thing is (not sure if HSPhone does this or there is a mention - personally don't pay attention) but if a call comes in to HSPhone, and its in the CID DB then it forwards the new name/CID internally - never paid attention. The TTS though is totally customized to whatever you want. Sis calling, work calling, neighbor calling....then later you can add when you want to have the calls announced or not and whether you want calls to TXT/Email you. My wife likes to be able to "hear" who is calling versus having to look at a CID.
