I can not find how to add cameras to Haiku Helper. I have the cameras displaying on the Haiku App on my iPhone. How can I view them in Helper? I'm sure this is a bone-headed oversight on my part!
Thanks for your help,
Jen
In HaikuHelper's menu bar, select Controller > Your Controller > Edit Cameras… (or right click your controller in the Controllers list and select the equivalent option).
Thank you for the quick reply. I put in the URL to the motion jpg stream and it isn't coming up, i get a black screen. I used this same URL in the haiku and HAI app with success. Thanks again for your help.
Jen
There are a few cameras that don't currently work with Safari. What camera are you using? You can try Firefox to see if it works there. We've filed a report with Apple regarding this.
I am using airCam. Advanced H.264 Megapixel. indoor/outdoor IP Cameras.
I tried running HaikuHelper in firefox to check the cameras. Same thing, HH runs, but black screen.
I put the URL for the camera stream in Firefox by itself and it worked fine.
With HaikuHelper 2.61, you can use the H.264 stream, have you tried that? If you send me the URL for the camera in a PM I can check why it might not be working.
