Central Heating simple control

Hi,

I've just dropped my underfloor heating as it was going to cost the earth... I am no looking to control 4 central heating zones hopefully via Elk so that I have control via CQC, any sugestions (UK based question, so no Aircon)

what kind of heating? Forced hot air? Baseboard hot water heating? How are the zones controlled now?
whatever control system will have to interact with the physical devices that control heat.

sorry, ommited slightly usefull info...

this will be hotwater to radiators, this is for a new build, the boiler has a flow and return for the heating circuit, so I need to make a manifold and then feed my 4 zones...
