Well, looks like CocoonTech.com hit another milestone, as it is time to move to a bigger server which can handle the increased load and new features I am working on. I have completely automated this process (took me a while, but I'll automate anything ...) so all I have to do is push a button. Since there is a huge amount of data involved, and DNS has to be updated, there will probably a 30 minute downtime. I am planning on doing this sometime this weekend, very late at night, or early in the morning, to minimize impact. Once I get close to starting the process, I'll make another announcement.
The chat service will not be impacted by this move, so if you bookmark the HTML chat link, or use your IM/IRC client to connect to irc.marstracker.com port 6667 (#cocoon), you can still talk to other cocooners.
