Yes. There is a VAux + and a negative terminal point. You need to hook both wires up to the corresponding terminals.

Each VAUX has a + and - terminal associated with it.

That was so obvious when I looked on M1. You can tell I don't know the layout very well yet. Will I need to wire in a 2200 ohm resistor as well?

Does the CO Detector need to be powered down to reset them? If so, you should use the SAux to switch power to the detector.
