After many, many years using Apple AirPorts for WiFi at the house, I finally decided to replace them. They actually still work well, for what it’s worth (most things in my house are connected via Ethernet) but modern wireless devices were struggling as time went on, especially in certain parts of the house. I decided to replace them with the TP-Link Deco BE5000.
I need help, please, connecting my Leviton Omni LTe to the internet. And, sadly, I’ll need to be directed as though I’m in kindergarten. I tried poking around the Deco mobile app (where these devices are managed) to figure it out on my own but could not. Most internet protocol stuff is over my head. I have screenshots of its settings in Apple’s AirPort Utility but not sure what info there is needed.
I have a Motorola DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem plugged into the TP-Link Deco BE5000. Ethernet leaves the Deco and goes into a NetGear GS316 switch. All other devices are plugged into this switch and appear to be working (the Omni is also plugged into this switch).
I appreciate any insight.
Thank you!!
Dave
