Control Vizia RF with OmniPro

I am thinking of getting the VRF01-1LX fan speed control switch for a fan and want to confirm that I can control it with my OmniPro. I found instructions in HAI's KB for how to enroll Vizia RF devices using the RZC0P controller but nothing about VRC0P. Will the OP be able to control the fan switch with the VRC0P v3?

Also, I understand that you need to enroll Z-wave devices with a primary controller, is the OP considered to be a primary controller or do I need something else?

Thanks,
Yuri

You will need the following:

Leviton VRUSB and download the latest Vizia RF+ Installer Tool Software
Levtion VRC0P v3 updated to the latest firmware
Levtion VRF01
HAI updated to the latest firmware

The VRUSB is for enrolling devices into your Z-Wave network and the VRC0P is the interface to the Omni. You may need additonal devices to give you a better mesh so you have stronger signal. With only one device, the VRF01 and VRC0P will need to be within 20-30 feet of each other.

Thanks Barry!

That's a lot of spend to get just one fan control switch working. However, as you have guessed correctly, this will be my first z-wave device so I suppose the initial cost up front is always significant.

My OmniPro is currently on firmware 3.8a, is that good enough to support the VRC0P v3 and the VRF01 switch? Also, do you know when (or if) HAI will start supporting the Kwikset z-wave locks?
