Cooper Aspire interoperability with Leviton Vizia RF+

I need a z-wave controlled in-wall receptacle and I have a Vizia RF+ system connected to my ELK using the VRZCOP RS 232 interface with excellant results. I was wondering if anyone has used one of these http://www.automatedoutlet.com/Home/Recept.../CWD-RF9505-T-X in a vizia RF+ setup and if so does it have the full functionality that the Vizia RF+ devices have such as two way notification and so forth? I have an older intermatic z-wave receptacle and while I can control it fine with the vizia rf system but the advanced features of the vizia RF+ are not available with the intermatic receptacles.

that particular 2way is specific to leviton vizia last i remember. you can initiate a poll after sending a command to simulate the same thing though. not sure what other advanced feature you are asking about though.

i have personally used all of the modules at the bottom of this page Zwave Modules I Have Used Together successfully in a single zwave network. again polling works for simulating most true 2way status.

Yeah I know I do polling now on my intermatic as well as whenever I execute group commands via the ELK but would rather just have it report. I do like your application for the Iphone very cool but am not a big fan of Apple and my last phone purchase was a Blackberry Bold which I definately like but I have to admit my friends and relatives that have the Iphone sometimes makes me regret my decision!

we do have a blackberry version also but the UI is nowhere near the iphone. uses the vzcop also either via free windows desktop app or global cache. instructions are similar to the iphone manual. i can get you a free demo if you want to try it out. just PM me if interested.

last i checked leviton was doing proprietary stuff to report like that to each other.

Yes, the Cooper products do report status when their status changes (and also via polling). However, we have never tested them with the VRC0P so can't say for sure if it will work the same with that controller.
