CT Northeast Ski Trip

Join us for a trip Skiing to Stowe Mountain Resort (http://www.stowe.com/) near Waterbury, Vermont. So far, it will just be myself and Skibum skiing, but Mustangcoupe says he'll stop by one evening for drinks. We'll be going to Stowe for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of March (Mon-Wed). Lift tickets are 84/day, and rentals are about 40/day if you need them. There are also multi-day packages available that are a bit cheaper. Ski, Mustang, and I are definitely going whether anyone else would like to or not, but we figured we'd let everyone know so that we could get some fellow Cocooners together. I'm coming from Baltimore, and may consider carpooling or making a caravan. For more info, hop into chat and ask, we'll get you all of the info, including where we'll be staying. PMs are welcome here as well. This is sort of short notice, and not real organized, but we hope anyone who is in the area and likes to ski (or just wants to come hang out) will.

It was actually almost 50 here today...I considered pulling the waverunner out of the shed for a couple minutes.

There are snowmobile rentals close by for anyone that doesn't ski.
Also Cross Country trails for those that don't like hills.

what is this snow thing you refer to? we're unfamiliar with it down in texas.

Think of it as hard water that is white and clings to hills.

Doing the Snowbird/Alta/Brighton/Solitude bit in a few weeks. My first trip skiing 'out West' (grew up in CT (Connecticut, not Cocoontech )).

The wife and I just got back from Killington VT. The conditions were Epic! Hope you all have some good weather for your trip. Maybe next year for a CT trip.
