Do I need a multi-zone amp or am I nuts?

I use a slightly different approach to whole house audio......

2 speakers
2 subs (12")
Really big amp. (750w x2)

No problem at all hearing it all over the house. ;)

Back when I was a tad younger.....

I was using the same speaker setup WITHOUT the sub woofers.....listening to Steven Stills...REALLY LOUD....

All of a sudden I heard something that was distinctly NOT musical... I turned around, and the music had imploded one of my 4 foot sliding glass doors! All that was left was a pile of little pieces of glass, and a big hole to the outside....

100% truth.

Pretty cool Ski.

I guess Stephen Stills = Resonant Frequency of Glass ;)

(man, I still have to go over and check your site out, been busy lately)

Well I doubt my setup draws to much juice as each zone is shut off and on when needed. I use the Den zone the most and my wife uses the Kitchen zone also. I have had it for a couple years and it has really worked out. The added advantage is that each zone also has its own tuner so you can multiple sound sources in each zone. Can't beat it for $60 a zone for 200 watts RMS with independent power/mute/volume/bass/treble/tuners for each zone.
