Door sensor alarm has gone off twice

Depends on what type of RF sensor it is and what it is connected to.
What type of alarm (MFG and Model)? What type of sensor and what kind of battery does it use?
Can you see the battery voltage or strength on the alarm management software (IE: I see this with the Ring Alarm system).
On my wired OmniPro 2 alarm set up I did have a contact sensor wire stretch to the point of disconnecting.
On my Ring Wireless alarm system / sensor the sensors alarm when batteries are depleted and do not allow use.
I had the garage wireless sensor quit working last week due to the distance from the sensor to the magnet changing with the heat from the garage.
