Have had several alarm events (false alarms) in the last few months and have not been impressed with Alarm relay on those. They were very helpful when my system went nuts and got everything working properly again. But they didn't keep the contact list/passwords straight when putting friends on for when we went on vacation. Main issue I am posting about now is their use of email to update contacts and passwords. Email being technically insecure causes me some pause but perhaps I am being overly worried about it. I suppose the chance of someone getting that info AND using it to rob an average person like me is pretty remote. Still, I would think a company that focuses on security wouldn't just use email. In the past I asked about FAXing it and they gave me a FAX number. Today when I asked about FAX they just said I should use email. What are others thoughts on this?
