DSC 1832 Motion Sensor violated prevents arming alarm....

So if walk through part of the house to a 500 keypad to arm the alarm, I have to wait until the motion sensors are no longer being activated before the panel says ready.
 
Since this isn't a door or window that needs to be closed, is there a zone type that will allow me to arm the alarm even if the motion sensor has just been activated? I don't want the motion sensors to prevent partition from being ready.

Find the programming manual for the 1832, your motions are not configured correctly in the panel, it's set like a door / window, there's a different mode type (can't remember, it's been many years since I did any panel programming)

The motion sensors are set up as type 5 which is correct. The thing that was missing was the zone attribute 5 (Force Arm Enable). Once I set that it works fine. Can't believe I lived with that for the past 15 years.

The thing that pushed me over the edge is I'm using Alexa to arm my DSC as I walk through the house and that of course means it will fail because the motion sensors are now always active when I'm trying to arm the alarm
