Dual Insteon PLM's

I use both Homeseer and an ElkM1. I'd like to migrate some lighting functions to the Elk. Is is possible to run dual Insteon PLM's? I want to connect 1 to Homeseer and the other to the M1.

My understanding is that you can use them for control, but all bets are off when trying to keep track of scenes. I ran into the same problem when inquiring about using Girder and my ISY on two PLMs.

They won't interfere with each other, but each of them will only be able to track status of devices if those devices are linked to their PLM. The M1 won't know that Homeseer has turned something on, and vice versa. That may or may not be an issue depending on how your devices are split up.
