Early BlackFriday? Discovered a coupon for Smarthomeusa

Hey guys .. I signed up for a newsletter and stumbled upon what seems like an early release of a pretty nice coupon for smarthomeusa.com ...

BLACKFRIDAY16 for 16% off. I tried it and it works!! Got myself some equipment I've been eyeing for a while. We'll see if it will be honored.... you may as well give it a try!

Wow, that was a good catch Dan. It is sad that a company I considered ethical had to do that. It's sad that this will now probably backfire on them. I know after that at least I would not want to purchase from them. I think we all need to support the ethical vendors that play by the rules and come in here to help. Places like Automated Outlet and ASIHome come to mind.

Edit: I guess I need to retract this comment as well if the info below is true.

Wrong company. This is a distributor from NY, not a manufacturer or big catalog printer.

Nooo! I workED there for about a year. I no longer do! edit:, Over a year ago.

I still stop by the site occasionally because picking up is cheaper than paying for shipping any where else.


Like I said, I caught the newsletter link after signing up, and thought I could be the first to post it for everyone to take advantage of, as I have myself. If i worked for them.. I could, and would have, worded my post as such.


For the record; if anything, I would need to put "used to work for smarthomeusa" in my sig. ;-)

and further... I worked in shipping and receiving. If i worked for marketing the company would have been supporting cocoontech since the day i was hired.

Dan normally has a great track record of sniffing out fraudulent promotions. Just doing his job of keeping up the high standards we've all come to expect from Cocoontech. No one can be right all of the time and all is well now.

You're very welcome, and I agree completely; Its comforting to know that we have admins like Dan watching over activity here so intently.
His oversight is a welcome distinction versus the other forums I've spent time at!

Such a bad time for the Canadian dollar to tank; exchange rate adds another 20% to the cost of US purchases. Then again, with all the sales and discounts, what better time than now to make up the difference!
